The Medal is awarded by the President of the European Club or the Chair of its Board personally to citizens of the Russian Federation or foreign nationals from December 21, 2009 to March 31, 2010.
The Medal may be awarded to:

Members of the European Club (including honorary members of the European Club);
-
Members of the Russian State Duma, members of the Council of the Federation, members of the Russian Government, ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation, and ambassadors of European countries who participate in the activities of the European Club.

Members of Parliaments of European countries (including members of the European Parliament, members of foreign governments (including members of the European Commission) participating in the events held by the European Club from December 1999 to March 2010;
-
Scientists, public activists, journalists who were actively involved in the work of the European Club for a number of years.

Description of the Medal
The Medal is made from a silver-coloured alloy. It has a round shape and has a diameter of 42 mm. The Medal is 3 mm thick. The design of the Medal was created on commission from PIT fund. The medal was handstamped in December 2009 in the Urals. The face of the Medal shows the globe with the outlined map of Europe surrounded by twelve small and one big five-point stars and the inscription “Европейскийклуб – Россия. European Club – Russia". The reverse side of the Medal there has the inscription 1999 - 2009 www.ruseu.com, with a large five-point star above it. The Medal is enclosed in a purple case and has a certificate of PIT fund. The certificate reads as follows: "This Commemorative medal is handmade (by stamping) in December 2009 on commission from the Russian European Club in the number of 100 copies". The face side of the Certificate shows the image of the Medal and the reverse side shows the emblem of PIT fund and the year 2009.
All rights to this product belong to PIT fund, which is not entitled to award the Medal at its own discretion or produce more copies of the Medal. Two master Medals are permanently stored by PIT fund and one by the European Club.
